Preamble
Our skills development programmes are addressed solely on intra-business courses. That is to say, they’re for employees belonging to the same company.
Prerequisites
This training is aimed at anyone wishing to develop new skills in the trades of the sale. No diploma is required, though a minimum 2 year experience is desirable.
Goals
Modules for developing in-depth skills:
- Understanding the impact of stocks on financial results from a point of sale
- Analysing the assortment of points of sale to increase the margin
- Decrypting an operating account
- Identifying the levers to optimise the profitability of a point of sale
Programme
- Calculating an objective and decline it in indicators
- Mastering key ratios related to stock: rotation, coverage, markdowns
- Analysing the causes of an offset transformation rate, offset sales index and an average shift basket
- Elaborating a business plan for product categories or encrypted collection plan
- Defining the product offer and ensure its implementation in stores
- Defining annual objectives of product lines and communicate them to the team
- Developing the reputation or visibility of a range of products
- Animating the product offer
- Tracking the commercial performance of products
- Proposing modifications or amenities to improve the presentation of the assortment in view to optimise profitability
- Controlling the financial profitability of product ranges and promotional actions put in place
- Understanding the main management indicators: fixed fees, variable fees, EBITDA and net margin
- Identifying which management levers operate to develop profitability
Mobilised Methods
This training takes place according to the following pace: 3 classes of 2h remote + 1h of feedback or a day in room.
Remote sessions integrate virtual classes, tests, intersessional work, coaching and video learning (optional). The room sessions can take place in all France.
Modality Assessment
This training includes a knowledge test before training. It allows to evaluate the starting level of learners. The assessment is measured by a score between 1 to 5.
At the end of the training, the participants inform the same questionnaire. A new score appears as well as a percentage of progression. Participants clearly measure the path traveled and define their action plan.
It is possible to access an optional individual debriefing.
